This page explains the cookies and similar technologies videoster.com uses. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What Cookies We Use
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. We use two kinds, both strictly necessary.

The session cookie is set only once you sign in. The room cookie is set only when you open a room link from an email, and is sent only to that room's pages (its path is limited to /room/ and that order's reference). Neither can be read by scripts on the page. Signing out removes the session cookie; if you are removed from a room, its cookie no longer opens it.
If you browse the site without signing in or opening a room link — including creator menus, checkout and the directory — videoster.com sets no cookies at all.
Functional
Cookies that remember a preference you have set. We do not use any.
Analytics
Cookies that measure how the site is used. We do not use any. There is no analytics package on this site, and we do not collect page-view, session, or behavioural analytics. If that changes, this page will be updated in the same release, not afterwards.
Advertising
None, and none planned. See Section 7.
2. Third Parties
We do not embed advertising networks, social widgets, session recorders, or tracking pixels.
- Cloudflare Turnstile, on the sign-in page only. The sign-in page at /login loads Cloudflare's Turnstile widget to tell people from automated sign-in attempts. It processes signals from your browser, such as your IP address and user agent, for that purpose only. videoster.com sets no cookie for it; what the widget itself does in your browser is governed by Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy addendum. No other page loads it; checkout and the waitlist are protected by rate limits on our own servers instead.
- YouTube thumbnails on creator menus. A creator's menu shows thumbnails of example videos, loaded as images from Google's i.ytimg.com. Your browser requests them from Google, which receives your IP address and browser details as with any image request, under the Google Privacy Policy. No page on videoster.com loads Google's scripts, and video links open on YouTube itself.
- Google, on Google's own site. A creator who connects their YouTube channel signs in on Google's page (accounts.google.com). Any cookies there are Google's.
- Payment providers, on their own sites. Where a company pays on a provider's own site (for example Escrow.com), any cookies there are that provider's, under its own policy. No page on videoster.com loads a payment provider's scripts.
The "Work with me" button. A creator can put Videoster's button on their own website with a script tag. The script only inserts a link to the creator's menu. It sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, and makes no request beyond loading the script itself.
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, serves the site and processes request data, including your IP address, to deliver and protect it. That is server-side infrastructure processing, not a cookie, and it does not track you across other sites.
3. How to Manage Cookies
Because we only set strictly necessary cookies, there is no consent banner to accept or reject, and nothing to turn off in a preference centre.
You can still control cookies in your browser:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Blocking or deleting the session cookie signs you out, and blocking the room cookie stops your room link from keeping you in the room. Everything that does not need an account or a room — including every creator menu, checkout, the directory and this policy — works with cookies fully blocked.
4. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Browsers can send a "Do Not Track" header or a Global Privacy Control signal. There is no agreed standard for how sites must respond to Do Not Track, and many ignore it.
Our position is simple: we run no advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, and no analytics, so there is nothing for those signals to switch off. We honour them by not doing the thing in the first place. If we ever introduce tracking that a signal ought to suppress, we will implement that signal and say so here before it goes live.
5. Changes to This Policy
If we add a cookie, or a category of cookie, this page changes in the same release that adds it — not afterwards. The date at the top always reflects the last change. Material changes will also be notified by email to the people we hold an address for at least 30 days in advance.

To be explicit, because these are the questions people actually want answered:
- No advertising cookies. We do not run ads and we do not sell ad space.
- No cross-site tracking. We do not follow you to other websites, and we do not embed anything that does.
- No data brokers. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
- No consent banner, because we have not given ourselves anything to ask consent for.
